AFC North Update

The 4-0 first place Baltimore Ravens travel to Denver to take on the 2-1 Broncos on MNF. This is a 8:30 game. Baltimore could have very easily lost the last two games and be 2-2, but that is the difference between a Steve McNair and a Kyle Boller. Depth is going to be an issue coming down the stretch. The Ravens offensive line is bad to begin with, and they lost starter Edwin Mulitalo for the season due to injury this past week. Returner BJ Sams was arrested for his second DUI in little over a year this week.

The 3-1 second place Bungles have their bye week this week. The Bungles were slapped around this past Sunday by the resurgent New England Patriots. The Steelers showed the league how to run on this bad defensive unit two weeks ago, the difference is that the Patriots did not commit five turnovers like the Stelers did. I firmly believe that the Bungles will not be our biggest roadblock in trying to reclaim the AFC North crown, but it will instead be the Ravens led by McNair and Ray Lewis. BTW, did any Bungles players get arrested this week? Just checking...

Our 1-2 third place Steelers head to San Diego to play the 2-1 Bolts in a 8:15 Sunday night showdown. The Bolts lost a bad game last week by playing Marty-ball in the second half. Key to the game...get to Phillip Rivers early and take him and the crowd out of the game.

The last place 1-3 Brownies play at the 2-2 Carolina Panthers at 1:00 Sunday afternoon. Does anyone have Charlie Frye as their fantasy QB? This kid is putting up some big numbers. Don't look now, but Kellen Winslow Jr is actually playing some football and not attempting stunts on his motorcycle.
